Brittney Tough, elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC), is known for her vibrant paintings depicting vintage textiles, patchwork quilts and old objects. She is an international award winning artist who has exhibited work across Canada and the US. Her work is published in Splash 16: Exploring Textures, North Light Books hardcover of the best in contemporary watercolour. Brittney has also received the Sam Black Award of Excellence, and Curry's: Da Vinci Co. Award from the CSPWC. Brittney has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Alberta College of Art and Design and continues to develop her painting practice in Calgary, AB. Along with her painting practice, she is a Board Member of Visual Arts Alberta- CARFAC and has 10 years of experience working as an Instructor and Program Coordinator for Studio C- a Collaborative Art Centre located in Calgary.
