About Brittney
Fun Facts
Home Base
A cozy bungalow in Calgary AB, Canada with my husband, our daughter, and pooch.
Other Passions
Mentoring others through art to discover their potential. Being outdoors in nature, vacations and dancing! Oh, and tea with honey and oat milk.
Quirkiest Trait
Everyone tells me I’m secretly a granny on the inside.
Creative Spark
Colour, pattern, light and shadow catch my eye, enticing me to capture photos of ordinary objects in daily life. I love seeing the artistic potential in everyday objects, especially textiles. When I’m back painting in the studio, the thrill comes from finding a way to exaggerate these elements within the painting to emphasize the meaning of the subject.
