All About Colour

This course is all about colour! You will learn how colour temperature, value and individual paint characteristics can help you create vibrant watercolour paintings. This course will increase your understanding of the colours on your palette and will help you to plan, anticipate and create more harmonious paintings.

We will meet once a week for 4 weeks. Each lesson is broken down into simplified concepts to build upon your understanding of colour theory as it pertains to watercolour. In the first half, you will be guided through a series of exercises to understand colour theory in a way that is tailored for watercolour enthusiasts. In the second half you will apply the concepts in a still life painting.

This is the course you need to springboard your colour confidence with creating masterful watercolour paintings.
